Dylan Fisher is a full stack Ruby on Rails developer based in New York City. He is a partner at Labud and teaches Core Interaction at Parsons School of Design.
Richard The approached me to develop Midnight Commercial’s new portfolio website. The overall design was straightforward, but there were a few interactions and layout requirements that made this website unique and technically challenging.
For our Core Interaction website, I chose to use Jekyll, the static site generator written in Ruby, to manage the site’s content. The website is hosted for free on GitHub Pages, which automatically compiles and serves Jekyll websites. This setup is similar to what we teach our students, where they also host their websites for the semester on GitGub Pages.
